In one of the videos released at the Netflix TUDUM event, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, aka Devi, gets a facetime call from Michael Cimino, aka Ethan, who introduces himself as the new heartthrob of none other than Devi’s school Sherman Oaks High itself! The video then goes on to feature fun banter between the cast as Darren Barnet says, “Hey, man! We got ‘handsome nerd’ and ‘cool jock’ covered.” It is followed by Michael saying, “Come on, Darren. Don’t worry about it. I’m more of a smouldering bad boy.”
Talking about Maitreyi, she is seen teasing how her character Devi copes up in her senior year while yet another newbie enters the school. The video clip further teases the return of Devi’s ex Paxton, whom everyone thought would not be seen in the final season as he prepared to go to a college in Arizona in the earlier season.
