One of the slices of the treat is a Christmas comedy package, Naughty, which is reported to be directed by Olivia Wilde, according to Deadline.

Scripted by Jimmy Warden, who will also serve as the producer of the Universal project, the movie revolves around a mother, Mallory, who hopes that she can secure the custody of her son from her manipulative and gaslighting ex through Santa Claus and convince him to testify in the divorce hearing. The Hollywood Reporter also reports that Margot Robbie, Tom Ackerley, and Josey McNamara will also produce under the LuckyChap banner, following their success with Barbie.

Wilde recently starred in Don’t Worry, Darling, which was also directed and produced by her. It also starred Florence Pugh and Harry Styles. Premiered at the Venice Film Festival, the film earned an impressive $ 90 million worldwide. The House actress is also reported to have directed and executive produced a limited series adaptation of the novel A Visit From the Goon Squad and its sequel, The Candy House for A24. In addition, screenwriter Warden, according to THR, served as a writer for the theatrical release Cocaine, which was later produced by Lord/Miller and directed by Elizabeth Banks.

Not only that, but Warden will make his feature directorial debut with the upcoming Borderline project, which he wrote in collaboration with LuckyChap, Red A and Brian Duffield. Per the reports, Wilde is represented by CAA, Narrative and Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole, whereas Warden is presented by CAA, Grandview, SSML and Ziffren Brittenham.

When it comes to LuckyChap, according to Deadline, it is “on a roll” owing to its blockbuster hits, including Barbie and Emerald Fennell’s Saltburn. Procuring more than $1.44 billion at the worldwide box office, Barbie has also received a plethora of awards.

In addition to Saltburn, LuckyChap also produced Fennell’s Promising Young Woman, which bagged Fennell an Original Screenplay Oscar and LuckyChap a Best Picture nomination in 2021. LuckyChap is represented by Entertainment 360, CAA, Narrative, and attorney Jeff Bernstein.
