One Chicago: When will the three shows return to NBC after their hiatus?

After an extended break, the three cherished One Chicago shows will be making their return on Wednesdays!

Attention readers! The network has provided details sooner than expected without leaving you hanging. Now, the entire One Chicago series is scheduled to premiere new episodes in the third week on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at the same time slot, starting with “Chicago Med” Season 8 at 10 p.m. ET, followed by “Chicago Fire” Season 11 at 9 p.m. ET, and concluding with “Chicago P.D.” Season 10 at 10 p.m. ET. 

While you wait for the new episodes to premiere in a few days, check out the prior episodes to catch up with the story if you haven’t been able to! 

The entire One Chicago franchise is also available to stream on Peacock, fuboTV, and Hulu Plus. You can also stream it by renting or purchasing it on Amazon Instant Video or Vudu, with a vast number of membership plans. Moreover, it is also available to watch exclusively on the NBC website and app, where the episodes are published after they air on the channel on Wednesday nights, based on the user’s location.

Chicago Med Season 8 Episode 16: What to expect?

The next episode, “What You See Isn’t Always What You Get,” will premiere at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. The episode is directed by Timothy Busfield and written by Eli Talbert, and Danny Weiss. The official synopsis song the episode states, “Halstead and Cuevas struggle to diagnose a patient with a rare disorder; CFD and Med staff work to free a paranoid father trapped in the MRI suite; Tanaka-Reed gets an ego check.”

The network has also disclosed details about the next episode, “Know When to Hold and When to Fold,” which will premiere on March 29, 2023. The official synopsis states, “A documentary crew visits Med to film Marcel and Abrams’ groundbreaking surgery; Archer refuses to ask for help for his kidney issues despite the staff’s unrelenting kindness; Halstead starts to develop feelings for a co-worker.” The episode is directed by Brian Tee and written by Gabriel L. Feinberg and Lily Dahl.

Chicago Fire Season 11 Episode 16: What to expect?

The upcoming episode, “Acting Up,” is scheduled to air on NBC at 9 p.m. ET time slot. The episode is directed by Reza Tabrizi and written by Andrea Newman and Michael Gilvary. The official synopsis of the episode states, “Cruz feels the burden of his increased responsibilities; Kidd, Gallo, and Carver get caught in the middle of a gang war on a call; Herrmann wrangles Trudy for help lifting Cindy’s mood.”

The details about the 17th episode, “The First Symptom,” reveal that the episode will follow, “Mouch builds a classic firetruck model for the Deputy District Chief but needs assistance from Gallo and Ritter; Brett and Violet encounter multiple victims with a strange set of symptoms; Cindy’s chemotherapy results loom over the Herrmann family.” The episode is directed by Paul McCrane and written by Matt Whitney.

Chicago P.D. Season 10 Episode 16: What to expect?

The next episode, simply titled, “Deadlocked,” will premiere at the same time slot of 10 p.m. ET on NBC. It is directed by Jesse Lee Soffer and written by Matthew Brown. The official synopsis states, “Voight takes the stand in a high-stakes murder trial against notorious drug kingpin Arturo Morales; when it becomes clear that Morales and his henchmen have compromised a juror, Voight and the team work furiously to ensure justice prevails.” 

This episode will be expanded further with the 17th episode,Out of the Depths,” which will release the following week and follows, “As the team investigates a convenience store robbery, the evidence leads them to an unusual pair of suspects, revealing a dark personal drama and another potential victim; Burgess slowly makes strides tackling her past trauma.” The episode is directed by Guy Ferland and written by Elena Pérez.
