The reasons for the delay include Yellowstone facing problems with many shows due to the Writer’s Guild of America and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Even well-doing franchises had taken the blow. Hence, even Outer Range is pushed to 2024 releases.

The Abbott Family: Royal, Cecilia, and their sons Parry and Rhett, with Parry’s daughter, live together on their ranch. It is in dispute with land owned by the Tillersons, and the show is filled with their bickering and love for the land. However, can Tillersons go to the extent of taking Perry’s wife Rebecca away? Where has she disappeared? What happens when a mysterious black hole opens into their backyard and transports them elsewhere?
A classic time travel, it sees characters like Autumn and the fight for land all amidst finding Rebecca. The official synopsis of the show reads, “The Abbotts are coping with the disappearance of their daughter-in-law when the neighbouring Tillersons make a play for their ranch land. Tension comes to a head when a mysterious black void arrives in the Abbotts’ pasture.” The quest to find Rebecca and unfold more adventures would continue in season 2
