Outlander Season 6: A Quick Recap

The sixth season has an 89% rating on Rotten Tomatoes with an average rating of 7.8/10 based on 9 reviews. The sixth season of “Outlander” sees a continuation of Claire and Jamie’s fight to protect those they love as they navigate the trials and tribulations of life in colonial America. The Frasers (Jamie, Claire, Brianna, and Roger) try to live peacefully on their isolated homestead in the North Carolina foothills as political unrest in the colonies erupts. Jamie is suddenly forced to choose between his loyalty to the oath he took to the British crown and his hope for freedom in the new world.

Trouble continues with the Browns, who form a “safety committee” that threatens the peace on the ridge, dividing the native American Indians, the British, and the Frasers. Meanwhile, the Christies arrive on the Ridge, a throwback to Jamie’s time in Ardsmuir Prison, and begin to influence the town. Malva Christie, Tom Christie’s daughter, develops feelings for Claire, only to betray her by announcing her pregnancy with Jamie as the father. As Jamie and Claire’s grip on Fraser’s Ridge becomes increasingly tenuous, the season concludes with a great deal of unrest involving the Browns and the Christies.
