When it comes down to wedding gowns, a bride has to have as many options as there can be!
On her big day, the 42-year-old socialite turned many heads when Hilton decided to wear six different gorgeous wedding dresses during her three-day wedding celebration. Even though she actually had 45 different dresses shipped to her Los Angeles compound, she chose the ideal ones for her special day, which was arranged by various fashion designers around the globe, as she revealed during an interview with British Vogue published Thursday.
“I actually wore six dresses when I did my wedding. It was because I had literally had 45 of them,” Hilton recalled.
“My stylist was getting calls from designers all around the world and everyone was so excited to be a part of this wedding that they all made incredible custom dresses. So I tried to wear as many of them as possible,” she says, staring down at a photo of her Oscar de la Renta gown, which was just one of the six dresses that Hilton managed to wear on the night.
“I wanted something that was really just like a princess, something that had, like, 3D flowers on it,” she adds. “I was going for a Grace Kelly vibe.” After all, who doesn’t want their wedding to be inspired by Old Hollywood star Grace Kelly?
In the video, Hilton pointed out the details of the dress in the photo and explained the inspiration behind the wedding dress in her Life In Looks video. The dress has a high neckline and long sleeves with pressed floral threadwork embroidery all down the bodice. The embroidery faded onto the tulle ball skirt as the gown’s skirt filled out. Her veil has similar flower accents at the base, which complemented the overall look of the beautiful dress.
After the ceremony, she surprised the guests by changing into a Galia Lahav gown for her first dance while pairing it with an off-the-shoulder corset tulle dress and a tiara, one of her signature accessories from ‘The Simple Life’ era. For her third look, Hilton included a second Oscar de la Renta dress, which has a ruched bustier top and A-line mini-skirt with the floral appliqué from her ceremony gown.
The final dress was a bejeweled Pamella Roland gown with a sheer sequin-covered cape and a plunging neckline complemented with the intricate work of pearl and sequin embellishments, which she paired with the same tiara from the Galia Lahav look. The evening concluded with Hilton donning her last Oscar de la Renta gown, which had Swarovski crystals embroidered in the shape of stars on transparent fabric all over the sheath gown.
While going through her 12 favorite looks from her career, she also talked about one of her most iconic Barbie-themed outfits of all time, quoting, “I was going for the Barbiecore vibes before there was even the word Barbiecore; I invented it,” Paris Hilton tells Vogue.
She further added, “I invented it. Barbie is my idol, she’s such an icon. I’ve looked up to her my entire life and I always loved that Barbie could be anything she set her mind to. Whether it was a teacher or an astronaut or a president, this woman did it all.”
At last, throughout her career within the entertainment industry, Hilton has played many roles and made her presence known by stealing the spotlight as a media personality, businesswoman, socialite, model, actress, and singer!
But for the last couple of years, it’s evident that she is devoted to expanding her family. After all, Hilton began dating businessman Carter Reum in December 2019. After being engaged on February 13, 2021, the couple got married in Los Angeles on November 11, 2021. Since then, Hilton and her husband welcomed a new member to their family by announcing the birth of their son, Phoenix Barron, via surrogacy in January 2023.
Days after his birth, Hilton announced Phoenix’s arrival on her Instagram with a close-up photo of her holding his hand with the caption reading, “You are already loved beyond words.” Take a look at some of the recent pictures she shared on Instagram with her baby boy below:
