Will there be a Season 2 of Partner Track?

Netflix has not officially renewed Partner Track Season 2 as of yet, although the show is highly rumored and expected to stream a second season. When it comes to renewals or cancellations of the shows, certain determinants need to be considered. These determinants are adjusted view share, impact value, and efficiency score.

Be that as it may, as viewers, we are incapable of evaluating these metrics. However, we can take a look at Netflix’s top 10 metrics, hourly figures, external demand sources, and third-party data, which is inclusive of completion data and hours watched.

On August 27, in conversation with Deadline, Jinny Howe, Netflix’s head of drama, mentioned that “executives are high on Partner Track, and the series is looking good for a season 2 renewal.”

If the show gets renewed, here’s what we are expecting the upcoming installment to cover:

Season 1 finale shows the disappointed Ingrid over her failed mission to get a partner at Parsons Valentine & Hunt, which was ultimately precluded by Jeff Murphy. If you could recall, in season 1, it was Jeff Murphy with whom she had been in an off-and-on relationship.

In conversation with Deadline, Georgia Lee, the developer of this legal drama, stated some of the key things to be covered in Partner Track Season 2. They discussed that there is no possibility of making amends in the relationship between Ingrid and Murphy. She further added, “I would like to say that Ingrid chooses not Team Murphy or Team Nick or Team Z, she chooses herself. That’s her ultimate journey.” Not only that, but she also hinted that there could be more of the Rachel-Tyler-Ingrid trio.
