Pete Davidson made his first public appearance since the unexplained cancellation of several comedy shows. The “Saturday Night Live” alum, accompanied by girlfriend Madelyn Cline, was spotted at Bobo’s Cafe in Somers, New York.
The couple perused the menu, ordered drinks, and Davidson indulged in an iced matcha latte while taking a cigarette break outside. Both were casually dressed, with Davidson in light-wash jeans, a grey jacket, and a green beanie, while Cline wore dark sweatpants, a T-shirt, a denim jacket, and a baseball cap.

Why did Pete Davidson cancel his comedy shows?
The sighting comes after the comic, 30, cancelled multiple shows citing “unforeseen circumstances.” Davidson reportedly had to bow out of several comedy performances scheduled from December 22 to January 4, with the Beacon Theatre in NYC announcing the cancellation just hours before his slated appearance. While Davidson hasn’t disclosed the reason for the cancellations, he is expected to resume his tour at the Premier Theater in Mashantucket, Ct., on January 6.
Davidson entered into rehab ‘to take a mental break’
The year has brought a mix of highs and lows for ‘The King of Staten Island’ actor. In June, Davidson entered into rehab to address challenges related to borderline personality disorder and PTSD, as per Page Six. A source noted, “Pete regularly goes to rehab for ‘tune-ups’ and to take a mental break, so that’s what’s happening.”
Adding to the tumultuous year, Davidson was involved in two car accidents. The first occurred in March when he crashed into a house with his then-girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders. The pair split in August, and within a month, Davidson entered a new relationship with Madelyn Cline. Despite being spotted holding hands at an “SNL” afterparty in October, their recent visit to Somers marks the first public appearance since then.
