Additionally, the plotline of the next season is not disclosed but it is expected to follow the basic premise stating, “Poker Face is a “mystery-of-the-week” series following Natasha Lyonne’s Charlie, who has an extraordinary ability to determine when someone is lying. The main cast members from the first season who are expected to reprise their roles are Natasha Lyonne and Charlie Cale, a casino worker who goes on the run. The recurring cast members include Benjamin Bratt as Cliff LeGrand, the casino head of security, who chases Charlie across the country, and Ron Perlman as Sterling Frost Sr., the casino owner.
The series is produced by Johnson’s T-Street Productions and MRC Television, along with Lyonne under her production banner Animal Pictures. Johnson, Bergman, and Lyonne executive produce alongside Nena Rodrigue and Iain B. MacDonald. Nora Zuckerman and Lilla Zuckerman serve as executive producers and showrunners.
