Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attend Invictus event in Germany after UK visit

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently visited the UK to attend the One Young World summit. Now, after their UK visit, the couple headed to Germany to attend the Invictus Games countdown event. The Duke and the Duchess of Sussex were seen dressed in elegant ensembles as they walked hand-in-hand to attend the much-talked-about tournament. Their visit to Dusseldorf in Germany happens ahead of the Invictus Games, which are all set to be held in September 2023.

Meghan Markle’s outfit

For the unversed, the said event was held on Tuesday. Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, looked chic and elegant in a sleeveless ivory knit turtleneck top with high-rise beige flared trousers. The Duchess of Sussex chose to tie up her hair into a bun and flashed a beaming smile as she held Prince Harry’s hand during the event. Talking about Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex also flaunted a dapper look as he wore a crisp white shirt and a grey suit.

The couple’s earlier visit

Earlier, the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex attended the One Young World Summit held in Manchester on Monday. The event also marked the first joint working visit of the couple to the UK after stepping back from their royal roles in March 2020. Earlier, the couple visited the country in June for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebration.

The public reception


Prince Harry and Meghan Markle received massive cheers as they stepped onto the stage at the event. Meghan, on the other hand, delivered a keynote address for the event’s opening ceremony. For the unversed, the Summit was held at the Bridgewater Hall located in Manchester. The ex-royal couple is said to have a packed schedule in the coming days.

Moreover, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan, delivered her first-ever speech in the UK in two years during the recent event. She said that it was nice to be back in the UK. She also expressed her elatedness over returning to One Young World, with which she had been a counselor since 2014. As reported by The Guardian, the Duchess of Sussex added, “To meet again here with him [Prince Harry] by my side makes it all feel full circle.”
