Is Paul Scheuring’s drama television series making a comeback? Here is everything we know so far about Prison Break Season 6.

Have you heard the rumors making the rounds on social media about the potential development of Prison Break season 6? If so, then we can assure you that you are not alone, as we can be certain that these reports have sparked speculation about the two adored brothers, Lincoln Burrows and Michael Scofield, making their return for another season.

As, they once embraced television sets across the globe and were last seen in 2017, which has made the loyal Prison Break fandom hopeful once again.

Unfortunately, we hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it is important to not add more fuel to this speedily spreading wildfire, and we are going to get straight to the point: Even though the fans are delighted to hear these ongoing reports, we can confirm to the readers that Prison Break Season 6 is not happening at Netflix.

Prison Break Season 6: Is it happening at Netflix?

These are just some random ramblings that were started when a picture of Michael and Lincoln’s combined faces with the text “Prison Break return” was shared on the Facebook page of an unofficial Netflix account called “Netflix News.” The users who came across the post just assumed it to be true, and started sharing it all over the platform, which led the fans to consider it the truth.

The fact that the post’s title reads, “Prison Break. Season 6. SOON,” doesn’t help, as the page is not even verified, which clearly indicates no such plans for a sixth season are in the works by Netflix. It’s not as if the show hadn’t been considering a sixth season for years. If you recall, back in January 2018, Fox confirmed that season 6 was in the early stages of development.

However, in August 2019, Fox announced that it had no current plans to resurrect Prison Break, and Miller confirmed in late 2020 that he had no plan to return to the series. Since then, there have been no details regarding the potential renewal of Prison Break Season 6. However, there is a possibility of the sixth season only if Paul Scheuring and the rest of the production team agree to return if it ever happens!

Luca’s capture by the FBI is made possible by a wounded Lincoln escaping the hospital. In order to reenact Gaines’ murder and demonstrate Jacob’s participation, Michael executes a plan in which he entices Jacob and A&W to a warehouse. Later, Whip is shot by A&W during the effort and dies before T-Bag kills her and captures her. Jacob’s participation is established by Michael, and the two are taken into custody.
