Private Lesson Release Date and Time Slot

The brand-new movie has officially been confirmed to premiere next month on Friday, December 16, 2022, at 12:00 a.m. (PT) or 3:00 a.m. (ET), at the same premiere time as other original movies and shows on the streaming service. In order to receive updates on when new content across different genres premiered on Netflix, interested viewers can also enable notifications. The official Netflix Twitter handle also confirmed the news by sharing the date announcement for the series, quoting, “Lesson: Relationships Subject: Love #ÖzelDers Only on Netflix on December 16.” Take a look at the official post below:

Private Lesson Plot

The focus of Private Lesson will be on relationships, careers, and the difficulty of balancing them all; even with “professional,” assistance, it may still be a difficult task. A beautiful private tutor Azra provides lifestyle coaching secretly but everything changes one day. She accidentally sees her handsome neighbor and develops a crush on him. And no doubt she is successful in her profession but she forgets everything after meeting the handsome man. She does totally opposite things after meeting him. On the other hand, the trailer begins with the standard phrase “a jack of all trades.”

However, Azra’s (Bensu Soral) case, suggests that she can tutor just about anyone to succeed in any field of life. Many people might equate this with having the ability to participate in a variety of jobs. Whether it’s an art teacher or a counselor, the role is chosen by the client, and she excels in it. Azra, the teacher with the Midas touch, has successful students. Azra encounters a new challenge, though, when a Helin Kandemir-played character overhears a success story of her work. She is battling both life and love, so she needs the tutor’s special touch to win Utku’s heart.

Private Lesson Cast and Crew

Private Lesson, originally known as Özel Ders in Turkish, is directed by Turkish filmmaker Kivanç Baruönü, director of the feature films Boss Wants a Happy Ending, Kocan Kadar Konus, Sister in Law, and Locked on You previously, plus the TV series “Iste Bu Benim Masalim”. The screenplay is written by Murat Disli and Yasemin Erturan. The cast of the film includes Bensu Soral as Azra, Halit Özgür Sarı, Helin Kandemir, Rami Narin, Hatice Aslan, Hülya Gülşen Irmak, Murat Karasu, Elif Ceren Balıkçı, Deniz Altan, and Esengül Yılmaz. With a woman falling in love with a man she’s supposed to be setting up for someone else, this seems to be a quirky Turkish retelling of the Cyrano de Bergerac story.
