PURPLE KISS is all set to wrap up its activities as a group. As disappointing as it sounds, the group’s agency, RBW Entertainment, released an official statement announcing the group’s disbandment on August 4, 2025.
For the unversed, PURPLE KISS debuted in 2021 and will reportedly be disbanding in November this year.

Agency’s official statement
RBW Entertainment has shared a rather positive statement regarding the K-pop group’s fate. It reads,
“Hello, this is RBW.
First, we would like to sincerely thank all PLORY for their unwavering love for PURPLE KISS.
We would like to share our official position regarding PURPLE KISS’s group activities and future plans. Above all, we are deeply sorry to deliver this sudden news.
This coming November, PURPLE KISS will conclude their group activities.
Because of the members’ deep affection for the group, we engaged in long and thoughtful discussions about how to move forward. As a result, we reached a conclusion based on mutual respect and support for each member’s individual dreams.
Although group activities will end, all previously scheduled promotions will proceed as planned as a way to repay your love and support. In the remaining time, PURPLE KISS will meet PLORY through the release of an English album at the end of August, followed by promotions in Japan, a U.S. tour, and a concert in Korea.
RBW has shared countless moments with PURPLE KISS and extends heartfelt gratitude to the six members who made PURPLE KISS shine. Even during inexperienced and imperfect days, every moment shone brightly because of the members who gave their all with passion and PLORY, who have always stood steadfastly by their side.
Once again, we sincerely thank all PLORY for loving PURPLE KISS with such warmth.

The group’s recent activities
Ever since their debut in March 2021, the PURPLE KISS members quietly built a space of their own in the already crowded K-pop world. They also won the music lovers’ hearts with peppy numbers like Ponzona, Zombie, and Sweet Juice. While the girl group didn’t always top the charts, they garnered a separate fan base due to their originality and stage presence.
If reports are to be believed, all the members of the group will continue with their solo endeavors after the disbandment. As for the fans, they await a final goodbye from PURPLE KISS on social media.
