Will there be another season of this reality television series on Netflix? Continue reading to find out more about Queer Eye Season 7.
If you have been keeping up with the Queer Eye, then we know that you are aware that it has been a while since any new updates regarding the upcoming season of this award-winning show have been provided to the viewers, which is quite surprising as the sixth season ended back on December 31, 2021, it has been more than a year.
Over the last successful six seasons, this series has received critical acclaim for its strong representation of the LGBT community and communities that include people of color. So, there is no doubt that the network will try its best to hold on to this franchise for more seasons, like other popular shows on Netflix that deserve the chance to be expanded further.
On the bright side, it does seem like Queer Eye has been able to actually break Netflix’s six-season curse! As soon as the final episode of the sixth season premiered, a few months later, around April 28, 2022, it was confirmed that the network had reported that a seventh season was officially in the works.
Similar to the previous announcement, this one too marks a full year since it was acknowledged that the show is still in active development. Netflix confirmed they were casting for make-believers to join the group on Twitter by posting a funny video of the Fab Five touring the nation. As was to be anticipated, the news of the renewal excited the audience.
Take a look at the official post on Queer Eye’s Twitter handle below:

Moreover, through Twitter, it has been confirmed that the next season is currently being filmed with new constants who will be revealed later! But it is certain that the Fab Five will bring back love and light to the Lone Star State, where everything is bigger — from the stars at night to the heartfelt transformations. They will return to bring their magic back onto the screens, just like the fans have loved to see in the prior season!
The main cast members, titled the “Fab Five,” who will return to reprise their roles in the new season include:
- Antoni Porowski: “Food and Wine” – expert on alcohol, beverages, food preparation, and presentation
- Bobby Berk: “Design” – expert on interior design and home organization
- Jonathan Van Ness: “Grooming” – expert on hair, grooming, personal hygiene, and makeup
- Karamo Brown: “Culture and Lifestyle” – expert on popular culture, relationships, and social interaction
- Tan France: “Fashion” – expert on clothing, fashion, and personal styling
We would like to emphasize that because the show is still in production, the network has not set a release date. If we have to speculate, then it’s hoped that we’ll get season 7 at some point in 2023. Of course! This is just conjecture, and the exact premiere date will be confirmed in the coming months by Netflix once the film concludes.
Until then, we request that the fans stream the prior seasons to understand the concept of the show, which was inspired by the 2003 series originally titled “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.” As the “Fab Five” spend a week applying their expertise to help some individual—that episode’s “hero”—improve their lifestyle and achieve better satisfaction in their lives.
The Fab 5 just arrived in The Big Easy and are already dripping in Mardi Gras beads. 🥳 We’re so excited to join the party in this amazing city. 🤩 Get ready for new adventures and more tears real soon. 💖 pic.twitter.com/voeBRPEf6D
