The name Ricky Gervais’ with his well-known trademark wit is enough for millions of stand-up comedy fans to check out and start streaming the new special as soon as it was released worldwide on December 25, 2023, on Netflix. Since then, it has only been a week, and the highly anticipated ‘Armageddon’ has already solidified its place on the Global Top 10 chart by taking the streaming world by storm and dominating the No. 1 spot on the English TV Chart, making it a must-watch show.

The show has taken first place from December 25 to December 31, 2023, as per the official list released by Netflix recently. Obliterated: Season 1 has been dropped from its top three spot as it gets fourth place with 17,800,000 hours viewed and  2,600,000 total views for this week. 

Whereas, Dave Chappelle’s new Netflix special “The Dreamer” earned 2,100,000 hours of viewing on its first day of availability, with a total of 2,200,000 views, making it secure the fifth spot. The sixth spot has been taken by Fireplace 4K: Crackling Birchwood from Fireplace for Your Home with 1,900,000 hours viewed, and the seventh spot is taken by World War II: From the Frontlines: Season 1 with a total of 8,800,000 hours viewed. The last three spots on the chart are taken by Trevor Noah: Where Was I?, Young Sheldon: Season 1, and Bebefinn Playtime, with each having more than 1,00,000 million views.
