Rory Culkin is officially a dad.
Culkin has welcomed his first child, a girl, with girlfriend Kate Arizmendi.
On May 24, Arizmendi, who is a cinematographer, took to Instagram and shared the happy news with her fans.
Sharing a photo of the newborn sleeping in a blanket, on her Instagram Story, Arizmendi, 38, wrote, “Her in the womb while I’m screaming System of a Down.”
She added, “We’re so in love with you.”
In another Instagram Story, Arizmendi shared one more adorable photo of the baby girl staring wide at the camera, while still in the hospital, and wrote, “15 mins after pushing her out and so alert and excited about life already,” adding, “Also hello girl baby Rory.”
In a third photo, Arizmendi gave a glimpse of Culkin’s fatherhood journey as the Scream 4 actor is seen holding the newborn. “Best papa,” Arizmendi wrote in the caption.
A fourth photo featured a close-up of the father-daughter duo as Culkin, 36, is seen holding the newborn close to his bare chest. Arizmendi jokingly captioned the photo with, “this is a problem”.
Arizmendi, who is known for her work on Cam, Swallow, Charm City Kings, Dune, Monica and Succession, announced her pregnancy in January via a series of photos on Instagram.
The photos featured Arizmendi flaunting her baby bump, some newborn clothes and Culkin seemingly reading a book to Arizmendi and the unborn baby.
After the birth of the baby, Arizmendi edited the caption of the post, which now reads, “my feed (and brain) has been consumed with such negativity and pain in the world that I thought I’d bring some light by announcing how ridiculously excited we are to be living in Havoc’s world in a few months. We love her.”
“She rules us already,” she wrote, while revealing the name and birth date of the baby, “Havoc Moon Alva Culkin 05/24/2026.”
Arizmendi concluded the post by jokingly apologising for skipping her pants, “ps sorry I never wear pants:).”
Culkin and Arizmendi have been dating since 2023, as per reports.
The Lords of Chaos actor was previously married to Sarah Scrivener. Scrivener has been working as a camera for various movies and TV shows since 2011.
The ex-couple met at the sets of Scream 4 and got married in April, 2018. They later got separated in 2022 after four years of marriage.
