Unfortunately, the new series will not return on the network in January 2023, so fans will have to wait a little longer, which is a few weeks. If you recall, the show’s production began on August 15, 2022, and concluded on November 3, 2022. Now, it has been officially confirmed that the series will premiere in a few weeks on Thursday, March 9, 2023, exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Canada.
Additionally, the following day, the series will make its Australian and British debuts. Dates for the premieres in the other Paramount+ markets abroad will be revealed later. School Spirits: What to expect?
School Spirits is based on the upcoming graphic novel by Nate & Megan Trinrud and Maria Nguyen. The book is planned for publication in fall 2023 by Clarion Books/HarperAlley, an imprint of Harper Collins Children’s Books. In the new series School Spirits, a teen girl stuck in the high school afterlife investigates her mysterious disappearance but the closer she gets to uncovering the truth, the more secrets and lies she discovers.
The cast members of the series include Kristian Flores (Reboot), Spencer MacPherson (Reign), Kiara Pichardo (The Society), Sarah Yarkin (Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Nick Pugliese (Dramarama), and Rainbow Wedell (The Wilds), along with previously announced Milo Manheim join star Peyton List in the series based on the upcoming graphic novel by Nate & Megan Trinrud and Maria Nguyen. Furthermore, Flores portrays Simon Elroy, MacPherson is Xavier Baxter, Pichardo plays Nicole Herrera, Yarkin is Rhonda, Pugliese plays Charley, and Wedell plays Claire Zolinski.
Additionally, Josh Zuckerman (The Offer) and Maria Dizzia (13 Reasons Why) recur as Mr. Martin and Sandra Nears, respectively. The show is produced by Awesomeness Studios and Paramount Television Studios. It is being reported that Oliver Goldstick (Pretty Little Liars, Bridgerton) serves as showrunner and will executive produce along with Nate and Megan Trinrud, who wrote the pilot. Max Winkler (Cruel Summer, Jungleland) will direct and executive produce.

School Spirits Episodes and Streaming Options
It has been brought to our attention that the two episodes of School Spirits will debut on March 9, 2023, and the remaining six episodes are scheduled to release on the platform once a week. On the other hand, following the debut, fresh episodes of the eight-episode season will be made accessible to subscribers on Thursdays in the United States and Canada and on Fridays in Australia and the United Kingdom. We would like to highlight that the episode titles and synopsis of the series are not released by the network as of January 10, 2023. The network will publish those details when the episodes are due to air on the streaming service.

The official teaser of 50 seconds was released by the network a few hours ago and showcases a teen who is stuck in the afterlife and decides to investigate her disappearance with a group of other students who are also stuck in limbo at their high school. The teaser also makes a hint at what is likely to be one of the series’ biggest features: a group of “spirits” who can vent to one another about how they feel like they left this world too soon. The Breakfast Club meets Ghostbusters with the colorful individuals from the support group.
