SEAL Team Season 7 Renewal Status
Attention readers! The good news has arrived early for the fans as the SEAL Team will definitely return to the screen! The renewal comes two months later, on January 20, 2023, after the Season 6 finale of the popular military drama, which ended on a cliffhanger. The delay, in comparison to the Season 6 renewal, which came a week after the Season 5 finale, prompted fans to launch a #RenewSEALTeam social media campaign, which resulted in the show’s title trending multiple times in recent weeks.
“We look forward to bringing SEAL Team fans even more of the series’ poignant storylines and thrilling missions with the upcoming seventh season,” said Tanya Giles, chief programming officer of Paramount Streaming. “The series continues to evolve and grow its audience. It is a great example of the types of programming that we see resonate with our subscribers.” In addition to this, the official Twitter handle of the network also confirmed the news among its followers, quoting, “Target acquired: Season 7 of #SEALTeam is coming to #ParamountPlus.” Take a look at the announcement below:

SEAL Team Season 7 Release Date and Time Slot
As the series was renewed for a seventh season a few hours ago, it makes it way too early for the network to announce the prospective premiere date for the upcoming season. But if we have to predict the potential release date of SEAL Team Season 7, it might happen sometime in the fall, around late 2023, with September to October being the likely timeframe. It is anticipated to air at the same time slot of 3:01 am ET exclusively on Paramount Plus with new episodes dropping on a weekly basis.
Of course, this is just speculation! Hence, any statement about the show’s official release date and time slot is still pending verification by the network. So, it is just assumed that the next season might follow the same pattern and be released in a similar time frame if the network decides to go with the exact schedule. In the meantime, we suggest that the viewers be patient and follow all the social media platforms for the series to be updated with the latest information for the upcoming season.
SEAL Team Season 7: What to expect?
The basic premise of the show will continue in the new season which follows the professional and personal lives of the Navy SEALs’ most elite unit as they train, plan, and execute the most dangerous, high-stakes missions that our country can ask of them. The series is expected to continue and explore the plot further from the second season’s final episode, “Fair Winds and Following Seas,” in which the viewers got to see that reeling from a devastating loss, BRAVO must fight their way out of the hostile territory. As, Season 6 ended with a poignant scene, in which Jason (Boreanaz) is getting reprimanded for speaking publicly about his TBI. Then everyone on his team steps up, sharing their own traumatic experiences and putting Bravo’s future in limbo.
The main cast members of the series who are expected to reprise their roles in the new season include David Boreanaz as Master Chief Special Warfare Operator Jason Hayes a.k.a. Bravo 1/1B, Max Thieriot as Special Warfare Operator Second Class Clay Spenser a.k.a. Bravo 6/6B, Neil Brown Jr. as Chief Warrant Officer 2 Raymond “Ray” Perry, formerly Senior Chief Special Warfare Operator a.k.a. Bravo 2/2B, A. J. Buckley as Special Warfare Operator First Class Percival “Sonny” Quinn a.k.a. Bravo 3/3B, Toni Trucks as Lieutenant (junior grade) Lisa Davis, and Raffi Barsoumian as Senior Chief Special Warfare Operator Omar Hamza.
The recurring cast members include Judd Lormand as Commander Eric Blackburn and Jessica Paré as Amanda “Mandy” Ellis. The original cast member Max Thieriot, now star and executive producer of the hit new CBS series Fire Country, returned for Season 6 to wrap up the story of his character, Clay Spenser. SEAL Team is produced by CBS Studios, and executive produced by Spencer Hudnut, Christopher Chulack, Sarah Timberman, Carl Beverly, Mark Owen, and Boreanaz. The series is distributed worldwide by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
SEAL Team Season 7 Episodes and Streaming Options
The forthcoming season is expected to have at least 10 episodes, which are expected to drop on a weekly basis, just like the sixth season. It is speculated that it is intended to follow the same framework as the prior episodes to be consistent. On the other hand, we’d also like to point out that, as of January 19, 2023, the exact titles and synopsis for the episodes cannot be confirmed. So, we request that viewers be patient and stream the sixth season, which has the following episodes:
- Season 6 Episode 1: Low-Impact – September 18, 2022
- Season 6 Episode 2: Crawl, Walk, Run – September 25, 2022
- Season 6 Episode 3: Growing Pains – October 2, 2022
- Season 6 Episode 4: Phantom Pattern – October 9, 2022
- Season 6 Episode 5: Thunderstruck – October 16, 2022
- Season 6 Episode 6: Watch Your 6 – October 23, 2022
- Season 6 Episode 7: Strange Bedfellows – October 30, 2022

- Season 6 Episode 9: Damage Assessment – November 13, 2022
- Season 6 Episode 10: Fair Winds and Following Seas – November 20, 2022
We would like to highlight that SEAL Team began as a broadcast drama, with sound stages and sets used for about 9 months of the year to film 22 episodes per season. With that reduced to ten episodes per season for Paramount+, keeping all those sets year-round incurs storage fees because they are idle for more than half of the time. The seventh season along with the prior seasons will most likely be available on all prior platforms that have the rights to stream the series, as well as on-air on fuboTV or Paramount. Moreover, all the seasons of the show are currently available to watch for free on the CBS platform. The series is also available to rent or buy on Google Play, iTunes, Vudu, and Amazon Instant Video, based on the viewers’ location, with preferred membership plans that the users can choose from.
