Gomez cannot ‘keep her hands to herself’ when she is with Benny Blanco.
December 7th is a date to remember because the lead singer, Selena Gomez, confirmed her relationship with rapper Benny Blanco. This was done via social media as a fan posted a black and white video of the 35-year-old rapper and Gomez, 31, cozying up on Dec. 7 via PopCrave, where the former Disney star posted in the comments and replied to other users, per People.
The “Calm Down” singer wrote under one comment, “He is my absolute everything in my heart,” before replying to another, writing, “then why has he been the best thing that’s ever happened to me? The end.” To another user’s comment, the “Same Old Love” singer replies, “lol yeah and he’s still better than anyone I’ve ever been with. Facts.”
Sensing negativity, she even fired back at another user’s comment, “I don’t understand. If you care about me. This is my happiest. If you don’t feel free to say whatever you want. But I will never allow your words to guide my life. Ever. I’m done. If you can’t accept me at my happiest then don’t be in [m]y life at all.”
Another similar relationship confirmation event took place on December 3rd when Gomez replied in the comments of a fan-posted picture of her and Blanco with the text “Selena Gomez Seemingly Confirms That She Is In a Relationship.” She replied in the comment section of this post with the word “Facts.”
Further cementing her claims, she posted a picture of her and the “Eastside” singer on her Instagram story.
Blanco and Gomez recently worked on a track together called “Single Soon.” Additionally, he was also present at her 31st birthday celebration.
A recent interview with SiriusXM Hits 1 LA with Tony Fly, and Symon showed the ‘Rare Beauty’ founder sharing the song trajectory she will be taking from now on, per People. She revealed, “I think everybody goes through the phase of, ‘Oh, it’d be nice to like have someone,’ and I get that,” adding, “But you know, I’m just enjoying where I’m at, and I just want to be happy with who I am so that whenever that person comes into my life, I can just have them add on to me instead of being this insecure, you know, person that I normally used to be.”
In the same interview, the “Fetish” singer reiterated how one should decode her new hit “Single Soon.” She shares, “It’s basically my way of saying, ‘It’s totally OK being on your own, and it’s fun.”
According to People, the “Single Soon” music video entails Gomez on a night out with fellow single friends, which she explained is pretty similar to her actual girls’ nights out. She explains, “It really is. It’s so much fun. I mean, you know, my friends will just pick up and wanna go somewhere.”
