Selena Gomez talked in one of her stories about trying to restrict her fast-food meals. However, she further added that she does occasionally indulge in them, a fact that holds true for many of us out there.
As published in PEOPLE, here is what the singer said, “So I be trying to stay skinny, but I went to Jack in the Box and I got four tacos, three egg rolls, onion rings and a spicy chicken sandwich. But honestly, I don’t care about my weight because people bi*** about it anyway. ‘You’re too small,’ ‘you’re too big,’ ‘that doesn’t fit.’ ‘Meh meh meh meh. B**ch, I am perfect the way I am. Most of you might be aware that Selena Gomez underwent a kidney transplant in September 2017 because of lupus problems. She had earlier stated that her health issues produce weight fluctuations which were quite upsetting for her. The Lose You to Love Me singer further opened up on how the combination of medicines and lupus causes her weight to fluctuate at times.
Gomez further talked to PEOPLE about her weight changes and said, “It’s the medication I have to take for the rest of my life — it depends on even the month, to be honest. So for me, I really noticed when people started attacking me for that. And in reality, that’s just my truth. I fluctuate. It depends what’s happening in my life.”
