Selena Gomez happens to be reminiscing about her childhood and revealing that her ‘biggest’ childhood crush was Ice Cube.

Gomez sat down with Karol G on the Wednesday, June 25, episode of GOAT Talk by Complex, where she spilled the beans about her childhood favorites.

She admitted that she used to get ‘very excited’ about Eminem songs back in time and adds, “Can I tell you my first one I had a crush on, Ice Cube?”

“I had the biggest crush on him when I was, like, 5. It’s so weird, but I just thought he would protect me. I’m only saying it simply based on my childhood.”

But what made her admire Ice Cube still remains a mystery as Gomez stayed away from giving details.

Karol G also listed her favorites – Eminem and Nicki Minaj.

The Only Murders in the Building star is engaged to producer Benny Blanco and the couple is seen frequently on casual outings.

Reports suggest that the duo have no plans of getting married anytime soon and they are taking their relationship ‘one day at a time’.

Just last week, Gomez shared a heartfelt tribute to their connection by posting photos of them together. In one of the photos, Blanco was seen sealing their relationship by kissing Gomez’s hand.

On an April 30 episode of Table Manners With Jessie and Lennie Ware podcast, the couple was asked about doing a first dance at the reception.

“I don’t think we’re looking at having one of those,” Gomez said while adding, “’Cause they’re a little—”

Just in time, Blanco interrupted and said, “She’s shy.”

“I feel embarrassed,” she said. “I will have a special dance with my papa, who is my grandfather and he’s my mom’s father. And he never got a chance to walk my mom down the aisle because good for my mom. She decided to go to Vegas and be like, ‘Whoo,’ and she’s still been with [her husband, Brian Teefey] ever since they were like 26. So it’s very cute that they did that, but I wanted to give him an opportunity to have that.”

The 32-year-old star has wrapped filming for Season 5 of Hulu’s hit show Only Murders in the Building. The new season is expected to add some new high-profile faces to the already star-studded cast.
