Selena Gomez feels safe in her relationship with Benny Blanco.
Gomez appeared on the New Music Daily on Apple Music 1 and chatted with host Zane Lowe about her new single “Love On” on Thursday. Here she revealed an interesting fact about her mental health when she is with Blanco.
The Same Old Love singer explained, “Without getting into too much detail, I think it’s just really important to meet someone that respects you,” adding, “And I think it’s really nice to also lean on someone who understands the world that I live in. But I’d have to say overall it’s the safest that I feel and it’s been really lovely and I’ve only grown through it, so it’s awesome.”

The singer further revealed to Lowe that while collaborating on new music, she does not feel safe in every room and around every other artist. She stated, “But I find that when I work with new people, it’s actually really fun to connect on what they’re walking through in life.” Gomez adds, “And it’s like, oh, working with some great songwriters who know friends of friends and things like that. But I think it’s also important that I stay with my core group because they’re the people that can crack the code with me the best. They’re the ones that can really help me explain what I want to say.”

The “Fetish” singer shared a new video clip of “Love On” on her social media as well as uploaded a view of pictures from the sets of the music video.
Blanco wrote “Omg !!!!” in the comment section of the post showing support for his beau. The “Wolves” singer further told Lowe that she spent two months living in the French city and called it “one of the most romantic” places. Speaking of romantic, Blanco and Gomez celebrated their own Valentine’s Day, where she wrote, “🤍 I love you,” on a photo of her and her boyfriend that she shared on her Instagram Story last week.

The “Eastside” singer fulfilled his part by posting a picture of Goez seated in the backseat of a car while wearing a furry coat with a white scarf wrapped around her head. He simply wrote, “💜 my valentine” in the picture.
In January, People Magazine reported through a source close to the couple saying that Gomez was “super happy and present” since she started dating Blanco. The insider continued, “She seems to be really feeling herself at the moment,” adding, “Maybe that’s Benny or maybe that’s just where she’s at personally and professionally.”
