“Super” and its Impact

“Super” is a song from FML that delivers a message comparing SEVENTEEN’s continuous growth and enjoyment of their career peak with the character Son Oh Gong from an anime series who overcomes difficulties and setbacks to improve himself. The music video received a warm response for its spectacular “mega crew performance” featuring over 200 dancers alongside SEVENTEEN. The song not only resonated with fans for its sound but also became popular on platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram, with many idols, including BTS’ Jungkook, SUGA, ENHYPEN, and LE SSERAFIM, participating in the choreography challenge.

SEVENTEEN’s Album FML and Sales Success

SEVENTEEN’s tenth mini album, FML, has achieved remarkable sales success since its release on April 24. It sold over 6.2 million copies, making it not only the best-selling K-pop album ever but also setting a new sales record for SEVENTEEN just two months after its release. SEVENTEEN became the first K-pop artist to sell over six million copies of a single album. Furthermore, FML has made significant strides on global charts, with the group becoming the first to surpass three million albums sold on the first day of release. The album debuted at number 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and remained on the chart for eight consecutive weeks, breaking SEVENTEEN’s record for the longest charting album on the Billboard 200.
