On December 19, 2022, Pledis Entertainment, the agency associated with SEVENTEEN, shared not one but two concept photos of Vernon’s latest mixtape ‘Black Eye’ on the group’s official social media handles. In the photos, Vernon seems to be radiating intense eyes with a red background behind him. Moreover, we can witness a bruised look around his eyes and the rough styling gives off a kind of rebellious vibe to the onlookers.

The solo debut
The teaser image for Vernon’s solo debut grabbed all attention. The image combines amazing and sensuous fonts and images while giving the feeling of a hip atmosphere. Moreover, it also arouses curiosity about what the phrase ‘TURN UP THE RADIO’ means! Well, the CARATs’ expectations and interests are currently centered around what Vernon would show with his first individual work.
Earlier, he released ‘Beg for You’, a collaboration proposal by British singer-songwriter Charlie XCX in February. The SEVENTEEN member also released ‘Lekka’, a song from Omega Sapien’s EP album titled ‘Wuga.’

The MTV European Music Awards was held on November 13, 2022, in Düsseldorf, Germany and the entire event was filled with glitz and glamour. Talking about the K-pop group SEVENTEEN, they won not one but two awards at the grand event that included the Best Push and Best New awards. For the unversed, Best Push is given to artists who feature in the MTV Push segment. SEVENTEEN happens to be the first-ever K-pop artist to have featured in MTV Push and also win an award for it.
Talking about the SEVENTEEN members, they also thanked the Carats for their big win and said, “It feels like we’re reaching somewhere new everyday, places we never imagined we’d be. We thank everyone who helped us on the way.”
