The singer shared the video randomly, along with a caption in which she mentioned being hurt, “I never said anything but it hurt. I knew this would happen.” A few fan sections thought that Shakira might be talking about her upcoming song or album. In yet another earlier post, here is what the Hips Don’t Lie singer wrote, “It was the fault of monotony.”

The couple’s split
Shakira and Gerard Piqué confirmed their relationship way back in 2011. Recently, the fans were beyond shocked when the couple announced their split after ten long years. The two of them are also parents to sons Milan and Sasha. The singer and the footballer also released a joint statement in June this year confirming their separation. Shakira also opened up about the difficult time she had to face upon her breakup during an interview with Elle. She also went on to call it the darkest hour of her life. The singer further talked about protecting her children from media coverage around her separation from Gerard.

Legal issues
Recently, Shakira also faced legal issues since she was accused of tax evasion in Spain. Prosecutors have reportedly accused the singer of six counts of tax fraud for having failed to pay 14.5 million euros. It was also revealed that Shakira would face trial over the alleged tax fraud as ordered by a judge from Barcelona. However, the singer has denied the allegations against her and maintained that she does not owe anything to the Spanish Tax Agency. She could face up to eight years in prison in the case if found guilty of the same.
