Shawn Mendes, one of the most popular international artists of current times, has unfortunately postponed his tour to take care of his mental health. The 23-year-old recently took to Instagram and revealed in an emotional post about the same. Here is what he said, “This breaks my heart to have to say this, but unfortunately I’m going to have to postpone the next three weeks of shows through Uncasville, CT until further notice.” Mendes who has 69.4 million followers on Instagram took everyone by surprise with his sudden decision. For the unversed, he kickstarted the Wonder the World tour two weeks ago. He had 23 dates scheduled till next year in UK/EU and North America.

Shawn Mendes took to Instagram and confessed, “I’ve been touring since I was 15 and to be honest it’s always been difficult to be on the road away from friends and family. After a few years off the road, I felt like I was ready to dive back in, but that decision was premature and unfortunately the toll of the road and the pressure has caught up to me and Ive hit a breaking point.”
“After speaking with my team and health professionals, I need to take some time to heal and take care of myself and my mental health, first and foremost. As soon as there are more updates I promise I will let you know love you guys,” he concluded.

Shawn Mendes had to earlier move the dates for Wonder The World Tour in UK/EU to 2023 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The singer let out his vulnerable side for the first time in April when he admitted to getting overstimulated and overwhelmed. A few weeks ago, another international artist Justin Bieber canceled his upcoming tours as he was suffering from Ramsay Hunt Syndrome.
