What’s On Netflix

The Mother’s opening 40 minutes give viewers a tantalizing look at a less glamorous Jennifer Lopez. The film begins with effective evil: When their safehouse is assaulted, murdering the majority of the guys inside, a never-named woman (Lopez) is arranging a deal with the feds to turn over information on gunrunners. For some minutes, director Niki Caro shamelessly withholds a critical fact regarding the Lopez character: She’s heavily pregnant. A senior agent explains the new conditions later as she is recuperating in the hospital: The Mother will be separated from her just-delivered baby in order to protect them both.

Cast: Ali Wong as Amy, David Choe, Young Mazino as Paul, Steven Yeun as Danny, Joseph Lee as George

Seasons: 1 (10 episodes)

Year: 2023

Genre: Dark comedy

The Netflix series BEEF, a dark comedy about the place inside of ourselves where wrath blooms, is the greatest choice for satisfying your rage. Steven Yeun plays Danny, a contractor who unluckily finds himself on the wrong end of a heated exchange with Amy (Ali Wong), the proprietor of a houseplant business, in this A24 series. And while it seems to never end, their rage is also oddly comical. Beef embraces every fad in sight, from cryptocurrency trading to the odd stuff that wealthy people buy. All the while, Amy is really keen to sell her company, and Danny’s financial situation is bad.

Formula 1: Drive to Survive

Formula 1: Drive to Survive - Season 5 | Official Trailer | Netflix

The Drive to Survive show fills in the gap left by the unpredictable Formula 1 racing scene, which frequently occurs at times that are inconvenient for Americans. This compelling documentary series, one of the greatest on Netflix, gives you an up-close and intimate look at the best drivers in the world, including its most prominent star, Lewis Hamilton. As Hamilton rose to the top of the leaderboard in the third series, it was clear how Covid-19 had turned F1 racing on its head.
