All we have, for now, is an update on the renewal of Snowfall Season 6. Since Season 5 is still airing, it’s hard to predict a release date, but even if we are to do it, we can’t expect the new season to return until late this year or even 2023, at the earliest.

What is Snowfall about?

Now, if you’re completely unaware of what’s going on, let us provide you with a gist. Initially, the story is set in 1983, while the United States was on the brink of its first Crack cocaine epidemic. The story follows a young guy named Franklin Saint who struggles to make ends meet in that weird scenario. Somehow he finds himself in the drug underworld of Los Angeles and from there starts his journey in the world of crime, sailing through the dangers such kind of life comes with.

  • Damson Idris plays Franklin Saint. He is a young guy from LA who started off as a dealer and then climbed the ladder from there and now heads The Family, a group responsible for crack cocaine production and distribution in LA. 
  • Carter Hudson plays Theodore “Teddy” McDonald/Reed Thompson. He is a CIA agent who works undercover. 
  • Emily Rios as Lucia Villanueva. She is the heiress of a Mexican drug Cartel, Villanueva. 
  • Sergio Peris-Mencheta plays Gustavo “El Oso” Zapata. He is a former Mexican wrestler who has ties with Villanueva drug cartel. 
  • Michael Hyatt plays Cissy Saint. She is Franklin’s mother.
  • Amin Joseph plays Jerome Saint. He is Franklin’s uncle and a member of The Family. He was the one who brought Franklin into the crime world. 
  • Devyn A. Tyler plays Veronique Turner. She is Franklin’s girlfriend who works for him as a real estate manager. She is currently expecting Franklin’s baby.
