Somebody Somewhere Season 2 Release Date and Time Slot

In February 2022, the series was renewed for a second season. As of October 27, 2022, the network has not formally verified the series, and the prospective premiere date has yet to be acknowledged. If we have to speculate, the series is expected to be released sometime between early and mid-2023.

The most probable timeframe will be some time at the start of 2023, with January being the most likely month, just like in the first season with the time slot of 7:30 PM Pacific Time (PT)/10:30 PM Eastern Time (ET).

On the other hand, this is just speculation that the next season might follow the same pattern and be released in a similar time frame if the network decides to renew the series further.  The official Twitter handle of the show also confirmed the news, quoting, “Somebody Somewhere is freaking out right now because it got renewed for season 2.That somebody is me.” Take a look at the official post below:

Somebody Somewhere Season 2 Plot

There is no word on what the plot of Somebody Somewhere Season 2 will entail, but several key plotlines have indicated possible scenarios and directions in which the series may go forward with. The next season is expected to continue the story by picking up the plotline from the finale episode of the first season and following the basic plotlines and character arcs viewers know about.

The series follows Sam, a true Kansan on the surface, which, beneath it all, struggles to fit the hometown mold. As Sam grapples with loss and acceptance, singing is her saving grace and leads her on a journey to discover herself and a community of outsiders who don’t fit in but don’t give up, showing that finding your people, and finding your voice, is possible. Anywhere. Somewhere.

Bridget Everett brings such warmth to the screen, it’s been an absolute joy to see audiences share a sense of belonging with this ensemble. We’re delighted to have Hannah and Paul remind us all where we come from in another season of Somebody Somewhere,” said Amy Gravitt, executive vice president, HBO Programming.
