Focusing on a renowned Finnish ice diver, Johanna Nordblad, who already holds a world record in her sports, is now attempting to break one of the world’s most dangerous records for distance traveled under the ice with one breath. Being a hyperthermia patient, she has to face even more challenges in her journey, but if she succeeds, she’ll be the first person on the planet to swim 80 meters in ice water. This 40 minutes documentary, directed by Ian Derry, has a lot to offer and would be hitting Netflix on May 3, 2022.
Heart of Invictus
This documentary is going to follow none other than our royal couple, Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan, throughout the event of the 2022 Invictus Games that are taking place in the Netherlands. Invictus Games, the Paralympics equivalent for injured former members of the armed forces, is one of the projects taken up by Archewell Productions of the Archewell Foundation started by the couple itself. With no news on the runtime of the documentary, we are expecting that it would release in 2022 itself.
Last Chance U: Basketball- season 2
We saw Last Chance U covering American Football, but with the growing popularity, the show would spin off and explore other exciting sports, including American Football. Last Chance U: Basketball Season 2 will be returning to follow the East Los Angeles College Huskies (ELAC) led by passionate head coach John Mosley. Formula 1: Drive to Survive Seasons 4 and 5
The first three seasons of the show offered subscribers unprecedented behind-the-scenes access to the world of Formula 1 racing, and Formula 1: Drive to Survive Season 4 wasted no time and debuted on March 11, 2022 on Netflix, becoming one of the chart-toppers. Untitled Tour de France series
Netflix is partnering with sporting events organizer A.S.O. on a documentary series covering one of the world’s biggest annual sporting events, the Tour de France, 2022. This show, with its filming scheduled from March to July 2022, would follow the journey of eight teams taking part in this challenging bike race. The runtime and number of episodes in the series is still not decided, but it is certain that the show will hit Netflix in early 2023.
