The Station 19 crew jumps into action as a violent tornado rips through Seattle; amidst the chaos, the team makes a shocking discovery buried under a tree; Travis’ first responder instincts kick into high gear at a political event. In the second episode, Travis discusses his position in the mayoral race as he is determined to kick Dixon out; Maya admits to blackmailing.
The team is called to a fire at a run-down apartment complex that reveals an unsettling cause. Later, the crew responds to the scene of a car accident where two teenagers are trapped inside an electric car; Ben and Maya find themselves caught in the middle of a domestic dispute involving a couple that they detest. Moreover, Maya and Theo answer a call at a Halloween carnival.
Station 19 hosts the neighborhood kids for trick-or-treating; a prank war breaks out in the house; Jack is haunted by a ghost from his past. They work against the clock to rescue a group of employees trapped inside a malfunctioning battery recycling plant. Carina plans a special surprise in an attempt to reconnect with Maya, and Travis gets caught in the crosshairs of dirty politics.
When a lightning storm crashes a helicopter, the team is drawn away from hosting a fire boot camp for young women, and Natasha calls on Jack to help Vic run the camp instead; things get heated between Carina and Maya. After a terrifying lightning strike, working overtime to extinguish a fire at Meredith Grey’s home. Maya is eventually rushed to the hospital for a medical emergency.
Dixon threatens Natasha in the aftermath of his poor judgment. Jack is met with disappointment on his first day back; the team responds to a fire in Theo’s old neighborhood. Theo realizes there is an uptick of fires in his old neighborhood and finds himself returning. Sullivan greets a patient with a large chest burn. After all this, Carina treats a pregnant patient who presents her with an offer.
A simulation fire training goes dangerously wrong; Maya tries to make amends, and Bailey encourages Carina to listen; Jack’s sister shows up at the station with a friend, an injury, and an attitude. The team is forced to make a risky call that could cost them dearly after Tomás’ barbershop catches fire. Diane drops by the station and is called back into action alongside Vic and Carina.

A call from a social media star’s livestream sends the team on an unusual rescue.
