Suzume no Tojimari Plot
The film follows Suzume, a 17-year-old who lives in the Kyushu region of southwestern Japan. Her town is a peaceful place and so is her life till the day she encountered a strange young man looking for a ‘door’. The two decided to venture together to look for it and eventually found it in an abandoned house situated in the mountains.
Things go unexpected when Suzume, under some unknown influence, reaches out to the door and instead gets pulled in. With that, started a series of events where “Doors of Disaster” started appearing across the country, and disasters followed. Now the responsibility to close those doors one by one came on the shoulders of Suzume in order to save the world from what she unintentionally started.
