“We all know how painful it can be to kick a man to the curb, but you don’t just rebound yourself out of the pan into hellfire.” – Dana Sue Sullivan

Now, we are a few days into the new month and really looking forward to the new releases that will be available in 2022. Unfortunately, it was brought to our attention that Sweet Magnolias Season 3 wasn’t included in the list, which is a little disappointing for the fans who have been waiting for the next season for quite some time now.

So, to curb all your doubts, we’ve compiled a list of all the things you should look forward to for the time being while you recap the previous seasons, which are available to watch on the streaming platform. If you are one of them, then you have reached the right place to know everything relating to Sweet Magnolias Season 3.

Sweet Magnolias Season 3 Release Date and Time Slot

Fans will regrettably have to wait a little longer as the third season of Sweet Magnolias won’t be available on Netflix this year. On May 4, 2022, Netflix renewed the series for a third season. The following season’s filming lasted from July 2022 until October 21 of that same year. On the plus side, it will finally make its global Netflix debut sometime in the spring of 2023. The months of April to June are thought to be the most likely.

Moreover, if we take most of the Netflix series into consideration with a bit of speculation, then the new season, will have the same premiere time as other shows on the streaming service, which is 12:00 a.m. (PT) or 3:00 a.m. (ET). In order to receive updates on when the show premieres on Netflix, interested viewers can also enable notifications. Take a look at some official BTS stills from the set below:

Sweet Magnolias Season 3 Plot

Dan Paulson (“Chesapeake Shores”) is also an executive producer on “Sweet Magnolias,” which comes from his Daniel L. Paulson production company. “We’re thrilled to be embarking on our third season for Netflix, and we’re looking forward to returning to Serenity,” he said in a statement. The series is based on the book series by Sherryl Woods.

The drama follows the lives of three lifelong best friends in the fictional small town of Serenity, South Carolina – and Maddie (JoAnna Garcia Swisher), Dana Sue (Brooke Elliott), and Helen (Heather Headley) will all be back. Throughout the first two seasons, the ladies have experienced their fair share of relationship troubles, unlikely friendships, and unexpected tragedies.

Although the Season 2 finale doesn’t end in another car accident, we were all left too stunned to speak yet again. Just as Helen and Erik (Dion Johnstone) are finally finding some balance in their relationship, their equilibrium is thrown off when Ryan (Michael Shenefelt) shockingly proposes to Helen. Showrunner Sheryl J. Anderson and executive producer Dan Paulson certainly love leaving viewers hanging on by a thread, and hopefully, we won’t have to wait too much longer to find out Helen’s answer.

Another shake-up from Season 2 is the arrival of a mysterious new character who harbors a grudge against Dana Sue. Not everything is about to be under control in Serenity next season, but at least the three ladies will have each other to lean on. “The power of female friendship really does fuel so much in life, but it’s not often highlighted,” Anderson tells Tudum. “Look at how women support one another in happy times and sad times, giving one another strength when it’s needed and support and joy. It really ripples through an entire community.”

Sweet Magnolias Season 3: Is there any teaser or trailer?

The network has not released any new teaser or trailer for the upcoming season. We speculate that it will take some more time. So, in the meantime, we recommend the viewers catch up with the prior episodes to understand the events that have transpired and evolved around the next season. Last time, when the viewers tune into streaming the second season, the viewers got to see that, “Together, the Magnolias work through new relationships, old wounds, and town politics as the sweet parts of life blend with the salty and the sour.” Take a look at the official trailer for Season 2 below:
