The 28-year-old actress rang in her birthday last weekend with a glitzy, space-themed celebration in Los Angeles that brought out a constellation of A-listers, including Jeff Bezos, Lauren Sánchez, Glen Powell and most notably, 44-year-old Braun, who is rumored to be her new beau.
“He really, really likes her,” a source close to the pair told Page Six, adding that they’ve “never” heard Braun sound so genuinely taken with someone before.
Sweeney leaned into the intergalactic theme in style, wearing a shimmering silver mini dress decked out with metallic stars — a near-perfect replica of Britney Spears’ iconic look from her Circus album cover. Guests arrived in equally creative ensembles, dressed as everything from astronauts to aliens and Star Wars characters.
Braun showed up in Jedi robes, though partygoers say the two kept things low-key throughout the night. “It was a huge party and there were so many people there,” said one attendee who has worked with Sweeney. “She’s very private.”
