The MTV VMAs turned out to be a blessing in disguise for Taylor Swift as she received the biggest honor of the night, which is the Video of the Year award for her song titled All Too Well. She also bagged the Best Direction and Best Longform Video awards for the same song at the grand event. Taylor Swift’s announcement

Taylor Swift, who rose to fame with songs like Love Story, Bad Blood, etc., was elated to receive the awards at the grand event. She also went ahead and thanked all her fans for their love and support. It was later when she made a big revelation to send the fans into a frenzy. Here is what Taylor Swift said after receiving the Video of the Year award, “You guys, I’m just so proud of what we made, and I know that every second of this moment that we wouldn’t have been able to make this short film if it weren’t for you, the fans.”

The singer also added, “You emboldened me to do that. And I had sort of made up my mind that if you were going to be this generous and give us this, I thought it might be a fun moment to tell you that my brand-new album comes out Oct. 21. And I will tell you more at midnight.”

The Instagram surprise

Taylor Swift backed her announcement with a surprise on Instagram, where she announced her new album, which is titled Midnights. Apart from that, the singer also released the album art for fans. Talking about the latest album, it includes 12 fresh tracks. Talking about the artwork, it displayed the names of the albums, which were titled Track One and so on. Talking about Taylor Swift, she dropped two albums earlier in 2020 named Evermore and Folklore.
