Taylor Swift turned Arrowhead Stadium into the season’s biggest headline on Sunday night. Fresh off her engagement to Travis Kelce, the global superstar was back in the stands, catching her first Kansas City Chiefs game since the couple announced their August milestone.
Swift, who is known for getting photographed while walking into the stadium, chose a less traditional path this time. As per a report by Page Six, the Blank Space hitmaker quietly made her way to the suite by ‘walking behind a large screen’, outsmarting photographers.

Swift’s presence added to the buzz of an already high-profile matchup – a Super Bowl rematch against the Philadelphia Eagles. But the night ended in disappointment for the Chiefs, who fell 20-17 after a fourth-quarter heartbreak. Kelce, 35, dropped a potential touchdown pass in the end zone, only to see Eagles safety Andrew Mukuba turn the mistake into the game-winning score. Frustrated, the tight end was caught on camera yelling and throwing his helmet on the sidelines.
The spotlight on Kelce and Swift hasn’t dimmed since their August 26 mega Instagram announcement. With a playful caption that read, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” Swift confirmed their engagement alongside her song So High School, which fans believe nods to Kelce. Days later, the couple made their first public appearance at a Cincinnati Bearcats vs. Nebraska Cornhuskers game, a tribute to Kelce’s alma mater.

For Swift, the timing couldn’t be better. After two years of near-constant travel with her record-breaking Eras Tour, which grossed over $2 billion across five continents, the singer is finally entering a quieter season. A source previously told PEOPLE she was “really looking forward to the upcoming NFL season,” adding that for the first time, she wouldn’t be “juggling a packed tour schedule.”
Still, the Grammy winner isn’t slowing down completely. On October 3, she’ll drop her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. Swift announced the record in her debut appearance on New Heights, the podcast Kelce co-hosts with his brother Jason.
Just like her albums, the podcast made sure to break records, too. It set the Guinness World Record for ‘most concurrent viewers for a podcast livestream on YouTube’ with 1.3 million concurrent YouTube viewers.
Between a new chapter in her personal life and a fresh NFL season ahead, Arrowhead may see plenty more Swift sightings this fall — engagement ring and all.
