The sequel spin-off of That ’70s Show, That ’90s Show, has got all the oldies feeling all giddy and nostalgic, with anticipation reaching its peak. Be that as it may, That ’90s Show was unable to make the cut in October, meaning it won’t be released on Netflix this month.
According to Netflix Life, the upcoming season is expected to “centre on Red and Kitty Forman (Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp reprising their roles) taking in their granddaughter Leia (Callie Haverda, playing the daughter of Eric and Donna) for a summer. Once again, these ’90s teens will get up to no good.”
To add a cherry on top of the cake, the sequel will also feature cameo appearances from the OG cast, including Laura Prepon, Topher Grace, Ashton Kutcher, Wilmer Valderrama, and Mila Kunis, reprising their original roles.

When will That ’90s Show be released?
That ’90s Show has already wrapped filming, with 10 episodes in the post-production process. Moreover, during the Netflix TUDUM event, there was no mention of the release date of the comedy. Taking this into consideration and the TVLine report, That ’90s Show, will supposedly première in late 2022 or early 2023.
This means that, unfortunately, That ’90s Show won’t be released in October 2022 since the series also did not make the cut in the complete list of new release movies and shows for the month.
What can we expect in That ’90s Show?
As per the recent details that Mila Kunis is confiding in us, she is expected to reprise her role as Jackie in That ’90s Show. She unveiled her character as the mother of a teenager in the upcoming sequel series. Moreover, she also revealed the potential father of the child.
In a conversation with Access, Kunis hinted at the possibility of Jackie and Kelso as the couple in the drama. However, she playfully mentioned that she imagined Jackie and Fez to be still together.

It’s 1995 and Leia Forman, daughter of Eric and Donna, is visiting her grandparents for the summer where she bonds with a new generation of Point Place kids under the watchful eye of Kitty and the stern glare of Red. In a conversation with Entertainment Weekly, Kutcher said, “That ’70s Show is a nostalgic show. I think it was nostalgic as it was being made, and now it’s nostalgic for a different reason. And I just don’t know that anything that we’re going to do that would be new would be better than what we did. And when you run that risk, I think it’s better to leave things alone.”
