The Blacklist Season 10 Plot

In the finale of Season 9, we got a hint as to what The Blacklist Season 10 could be about. The murderer of Liz Keen is dead and now, we expect the series to move past Raymond Reddington’s quest for revenge. Marvin Gerard, who was in prison, briefly ran into Wujing, aka no. 84 on the blacklist and the latter said that he is serving life without the possibility of parole.

Wujing has a plan to escape but for that, he needs to get into the courthouse and he has no reason to get a hearing from the judge. Marvin gives him the reason he desperately needs. After release from prison, Marvin shoots and kills himself, but before his death, he tells Wujing that Red is the reason why they are all in the prison. Wujing successfully makes an escape from the prison and decides to kill Raymond Reddington, with the help of all criminals who have been wronged by Red. In the next season, we’ll see Wujing and other criminals going after Red and planning to kill him.

Amir Arison, the actor, who has played the role of Aram Mojtabi for the past nine seasons, is also quitting the show as he is preparing for his next project this summer, in which he will play the starring role of Amir in The Kite Runner. Also, Laura Sohn, who has played FBI agent Alina Park for the past three seasons, is leaving the show.

In a statement to Deadline Arison said, “I have been so honored to play Aram Mojtabai for 9 years on The Blacklist, It is not lost on me how lucky I am to have been able to work and evolve with a role for 9 years with this extraordinary cast, crew, writers and producers. I could not pass up the opportunity, however, to fulfill a childhood dream of being on Broadway playing ‘Amir’ in The Kite Runner with a stage adaptation that is both breathtaking and timely. The producers, studio and network have been so supportive of my decision, and Aram remains ‘alive’ with the potential for a possible return at some point. Story-wise, it feels so organic with the events of this past season to take this step, and I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome.”
