The Cleaning Lady Season 3 is coming to Fox in March 2024

The Cleaning Lady Season 3 Release Date: When will it premiere?

After being renewed for a third season back in February 2023, the popular crime drama television series developed by Miranda Kwok is all set to premiere next year on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at the prime time slot of 8 p.m. on the Fox network and later on Hulu. The official X (formerly known as Twitter) handle of the show also confirmed the release date, quoting, “The countdown is ON!  #TheCleaningLady Season 3 premieres March 5 on @FOXTV, next day on @hulu!”

Take a look at the official post below:

The Cleaning Lady Season 3 Plot: What to expect from the new season?

With the filming status yet to be confirmed, nothing has been disclosed, but we are certain that the show based on the original Argentine series will continue from season two, which follows:

The Cleaning Lady picks up with Thony (Élodie Yung) desperately trying to find her son, Luca (Sebastien & Valentino LeSalle), after he was kidnapped by his father, Marco (Ivan Shaw). With nowhere else to turn, she enlists the help of FBI Agent Garrett Miller (Oliver Hudson) to track him down before they leave the country. Meanwhile, an incident involving Chris (Sean Lew) forces Fiona (Martha Millan) to shield her son by any means necessary, furthering the theme of how far a mother will go to protect her child.”

*Spoiler Alert*

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, showrunners Miranda Kwok and Melissa Carter discussed the status of Thony and Armand’s relationship leading into the third season, sharing:

“They have a relationship that is so unique and it’s never going to be one thing or easy. There’s this chemistry that brings them together and yet all these circumstances are still going to pull them apart. The relationship is evolving and there are different directions it can go depending on how difficult it will be to get Fiona back. Or what new criminal ventures they’re going to go into. There is still this interesting love triangle with Nadia. Is she going to stick around to put up with it or will she become more of a nemesis? Those are all options to explore.”

The Cleaning Lady Season 3 Cast: Who will reprise their roles?

We speculate that the main cast members are expected to reprise their roles, which are as follows: Élodie Yung as Thony De La Rosa, Adan Canto as Arman Morales, Martha Millan as Fiona De La Rosa, Sebastien and Valentino LaSalle as Luca De La Rosa, Sean Lew as Chris, Faith Bryant as Jaz, and Eva De Dominici as Nadia Morales. On the other hand, we can assume Garrett’s death is the final goodbye as we shouldn’t expect actor Oliver Hudson as Garrett Miller to return in Season 3.

Naveen Andrews as Robert Kamdar, who was introduced in the second season, won’t be reprising his role in the third season either, as his character was also killed off in the season 2 finale. As for Robert’s death, Carter told Deadline, “We always knew that Naveen Andrews’ character was going to be someone that was just going to be [in the series] one season, and we wanted it to be a thrill ride.”

Additionally, Jeannine Renshaw has also joined the show as an executive producer and will serve as showrunner with Miranda Kwok. The series was developed by executive producer Kwok and executive-produced by showrunner Melissa Carter and executive producers Shay Mitchell, David Dean Portelli, Rose Marie Vega, and Paola Suarez. It was produced in partnership between Fox Entertainment and Warner Bros. Television.
