The Curse series starring Emma Stone and Nathan Fielder sets release date

American comedies are known for their slapstick comedy approach and unique concepts. What separates them from other native-based comedies is the inclusivity of jokes and the level of experimentation marriages are the best forms of plots as they provide you with all the emotions, from crazy fights to great love and adventures.

But what if this couple’s expression looks like a stone? The Curse is an upcoming American comedy series starring Emma Stone, Fielder, and Safdie that started filming from June 2022 to October 2022. Now the show has set to premiere and has also set the Paramount+ release dates.

The first three episodes are set to air at the New York 2023 Film Festival on October 12, 2023. The Paramount+ release date is set for November 10, 2023.

The first look shows us Stone and Fielder wearing hats, doing interiors with blank expression, while other images show Fielder sitting on top of a bulldozer and Stone who plays Whitney, in front of a glass-walled house. Hollywood reporter mentions “The comedy explores an alleged curse disturbing the relationship of a newly married couple as they try to conceive a child while co-starring in their new home-improvement show.”

The cast sees Stone and Fielder play the lead roles as the couple and Safdie is the producer of the HGRV Show. Guest appearances include Barkhad Abdi, Corbin Bernsen, and Constance Shulman. This show is co-produced by Showtime and A24 production together while the executive producers include Safdie and Fielder who are also the directors. Hollywood Reporter says, “Stone, Dave McCary, Ali Herting, and Josh Safdie share executive producer credits.”

The Curse will be the TV laureate for Emma Stone after her renowned works in La La Land and Birdman. She will also be a part of Frankengirl in Yorgos Lanthimos Poor Things. Her production banner has a first-look TV deal with A 24 says The Hollywood Reporter.

The Curse will be released internationally on Paramount+ on November 10 in Canada and on November 11 in the UK, Australia, Latin America, South Korea, Italy, Germany Switzerland, and Austria.

IMDb gives the show’s plot as and we quote, “The Curse is a genre-bending scripted comedy that explores how an alleged curse disturbs the relationship of a newly married couple as they try to conceive a child while co-starring on their problematic new HGTV show.”

The show is set to have 10 episodes and can be officially streamed on Paramount+ along with Showtime on November 12, 2023, at 1 p.m. ET/PT. The first-look images and information are shared by Showtime and A24 together. The teaser has also been shared whose intriguing plot is setting the audience’s attention towards them.
