The Equalizer Season 3 Release Date
The network has officially confirmed that the series will return this year on October 2, 2022. The third season will debut with brand-new episodes on CBS. The Equalizer Season 3 Cast and Crew
The main cast members of the series expected to reprise their roles in the upcoming season are as follows:
Queen Latifah as Robyn McCall: A divorced single mother and former CIA operative who acts as a street vigilante for justice
Tory Kittles as Marcus Dante: A divorced father of two sons and an intelligent and shrewd NYPD detective on Robyn’s trail because he is reluctant to have Robyn help him but finds common ground in getting justice. In season 2, they become allies and friends.
Adam Goldberg as Harry Keshegian: Melody’s husband and a master hacker who faked his death with Robyn’s help.
Liza Lapira as Melody “Mel” Bayani: A former U.S. Air Force sniper turned owner of a bar that acts as a secret base of operations and an old friend of Robyn’s from her service days.
Laya DeLeon Hayes as Delilah: Robyn’s 15-year-old daughter, who is rebellious and feels neglected by Robyn, despite their attempts to bond with each other.
Lorraine Toussaint as Viola “Aunt Vi” Marsette: Robyn’s wise paternal aunt, who lives with Robyn and Delilah, having moved from Milwaukee to help them out, and is a painter.
Chris Noth as William Bishop: A quirky ex–CIA director and old friend of Robyn’s who now runs his own private security company. He acts as a liaison between Robyn and the CIA. In season 2, he is killed in a plane crash by Robyn’s nemesis, Mason Quinn.

The official teaser of approximately 19 seconds was released on the official youtube channel a few hours ago, with a tagline, stating, “The Equalizer is a reimagining of the classic series starring Queen Latifah as Robyn McCall, an enigmatic woman with a mysterious background who uses her extensive skills to help those with nowhere else to turn.” The promo gives a brief insight into the plot and character arcs for the season. The Equalizer Season 2: What happened in the finale episode?
The finale episode, Exposed, was released on May 15, 2022. It is estimated to have been viewed by 6.84 million US viewers. The episode is directed by Eric Laneuville and written by Terri Edda Miller & Andrew W. Marlowe & Joseph C. Wilson. In the episode, the viewers got to see that, to get access to the classified records on Omar Delgado, a close ally of Mason Quinn, McCall infiltrates the Cuban embassy. When she shares the information with Harry and Mel, they are hesitant to help her because of the connection to Bishop’s passing.
Instead, McCall enlists Carter Griffin’s assistance, who is able to locate Delgado and organize an arresting task team. After interviewing him, he and his crew come up empty-handed, and McCall makes an attempt. In an effort to win his trust, they orchestrate his escape. Delilah’s friend Vera starts her campaign for student president, but a nude photo of her is leaked online by her ex-boyfriend, Logan Jeffries.
Delilah turns to Dante when she runs out of options to help Vera, and Dante then introduces her to “The Equalizer,” who is actually her mother. She is introduced to Harry and Mel by McCall, who also promises her that she can seek their assistance. When Harry finds his match with a Russian IP address, he finds it difficult to remove Vera’s image from pornographic websites. Despite some resistance, he eventually overcomes it and removes the images of Vera and the other victims.
Vera sends Delilah a troubling text that makes suicide seem like a possibility. When Delilah and Mel arrive at her location, the former is able to reason with her. After learning about Logan’s burner phone, Dante and the NYPD detain him. McCall’s car is struck by another vehicle while it is being driven home. The assailants kidnap her while a shocked Aunt Vi and Delilah watch them leave.
