The Season 2 trailer was released earlier this month which hints at a lot of plotlines that will be further expanded in the next season. Some of which are speculated as to the following:
Cassie is no longer a murder suspect, but that doesn’t mean she’s safe from all the drama. Despite the harrowing events of the first season, fans know about the conspiracy theories surrounding an international corporation.

Cassie tries to assure herself that her “life is really awesome” after being clean and moving in with her new lover in Los Angeles.
She now works for the CIA as an official asset. Where she believes that someone is attempting to frame her for a huge crime. This season appears to be inspired by another Alfred Hitchcock film, 1958’s Vertigo.

The Flight Attendant Season 2: A Quick Recap
*Spoiler Ahead for Episodes 1 and 2 *
Episode 1 – “Seeing Double”
Cassie attends an AA meeting in the first episode of The Flight Attendant, where we learn that she has to transfer to LA and is now two days away from being a year sober.
She is currently dating a photojournalist named Marco. She now operates as a civilian asset for the CIA on the side. Not just that, but she is still employed as a flight attendant.

On the journey to Berlin, she discovers that she will be traveling with Jada. The leader, Jada, is concerned about Cassie’s ability, primarily because of her drinking background, although the other coworker, Grace, appears to be much more cordial towards Cassie.
Cassie speaks with Will to accomplish her CIA task, and despite the fact that he does not drink, they sit at the bar. She hires a hotel room for him and spies on him while he has sex with a blonde woman who has the same back tattoo as Cassie. Will is then killed in a car explosion. Benjamin Berry, Cassie’s CIA contact, calls to see how she is. She later lies, claiming she saw nothing.

Episode 2 – “Mushrooms, Tasers, and Bears, Oh My!”
Cassie decides to tell Annie and Max that she works as a civilian asset for the CIA after unlocking her bag in the previous episode. Cassie begins to question if Grace was involved in Will’s death while lying in bed. As a result, Cassie invites Grace to go shopping. She later discovers Grace’s deception and resolves to follow her.
Cassie follows Annie to an interview, and her trailing leads her to a farmers market, where she almost runs into her brother Davey.

Cassie suspects Grace isn’t the “blonde woman” after learning she doesn’t have a back tattoo, and because Grace gives drugs to cancer patients, she suspects Grace isn’t the “blonde woman.”
After Annie’s job interview fails miserably, she and Max assist Cassie in her investigation of the “blonde woman.” They are absolutely unaware that the “blonde woman” is close and photographing their journey.
