The good news has finally arrived as, “The Glory Season 1 Part 2,” has officially been scheduled for release on Friday, March 10, 2023, on Netflix, it will have the same time slot as other shows and movies on the streaming service, which is 12:00 a.m. (PT) or 3:00 a.m. (ET). It is no surprise that the series is returning sooner than we anticipated, as it ranked ninth globally in Netflix’s TV shows category. 

The series debuted at number three on Netflix’s Weekly Global Top 10 in the non-English TV show category for the week with 25.41 million hours viewed and subsequently ranked number one on the same list in the following week, accumulating 82.48 million viewing hours. Moreover, the official Twitter handle of Netflix also tweeted the news among their followers with a brand new teaser, quoting, “The Glory is back – with a vengeance. The Glory Season 1 Part 2: What to expect?

The official synopsis of the series states, “Dong-eun is a meek and reserved teenager who lives in poverty with her mother and has no friends. At school, she’s relentlessly bullied – both physically and mentally – by a group of privileged kids whose wealth and connections enable them to never see the consequences of their actions. Even her mother would rather accept bribery than hold anyone at her school accountable. The show is set in South Korea, both in Seoul and in a nearby town called Semyeong. The series takes place over the course of Dong-eun’s life, from 2004 to the present day. Additionally, the main cast members who will return include Song Hye-kyo as Moon Dong-eun, Jung Ji-so as Teenaged Moon Dong-eun, Lee Do-hyun as Joo Yeo-jeong, Lim Ji-yeon as Park Yeon-jin, Shin Ye-eun as Teenaged Park Yeon-jin, Yeom Hye-ran as Kang Hyeon-nam, Park Sung-hoon as Jeon Jae-jun, Jung Sung-il as Ha Do-yeong, Kim Hieora as Lee Sa-ra, Cha Joo-young as Choi Hye-jeong, and Kim Gun-woo as Son Myeong-o.
