The Great British Baking Show is set to return for the 13th season!
A lineup of ambitious bakers will compete in the legendary tent covered in bunting with the goal of winning the coveted Bake Off cake stand in the return of Channel 4’s The Great British Bake Off (The Great British Baking Show for the fans watching from the US) for a delectable new season.
Judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood will both return to lend their baking skills throughout the upcoming series, much to the joy of devoted fans.
The powerful pair will again be joined in the Bake Off tent by hosts Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding. The duo has been a part of the show since 2020. Their return, though, might have spurred mixed reactions among fans, as some miss Sand, Sue, and Mel.

The Great British Baking Show Season 13 release date
The Great British Baking Show Season 13’s first episode will air on Channel 4 in the UK on Tuesday, September 13. Netflix hasn’t made any official statements about when the US will be able to watch the show online, but it has marked the episodes in its current library of The Great British Baking Show with the phrase “New season coming soon.”
Previously, Netflix released the episodes on Friday following the episode premiere in the UK. If the pattern remains the same, then the first episode of The Great British Baking Show Season 13 can be expected on September 16, 2022, on Netflix.

The Great British Baking Show Season 13 Judges
According to Radio Times, the judges for the upcoming group of bakers in Season 13 of The Great British Bake Off will be Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith.
The show has included Hollywood from the start. According to the website for the program, he is regarded as one of the UK’s “top artisan bakers” and even has a best-selling book on breadmaking. He has hosted Bread and Paul Hollywood’s Pies and Puds for BBC1, in addition to GBBO. A Hollywood handshake is almost as coveted as winning the competition, and in Season 12, Hollywood gave out a couple. In Season 13, we can’t wait to see if anyone manages to wow him as much.

According to What’s On Netflix, seasons 1 through 5 of The Great British Baking Show were removed from Netflix in North America as of January 1, 2022. One needs to visit PBS to see them, as the program was broadcast here in the US before Netflix acquired exclusive rights to it in 2018. The program changed its name to The Great British Baking Show for American audiences at this time; otherwise, it is still known as The Great British Bake Off worldwide.
