Alexis Bledel and her husband Vincent Kartheiser are unfortunately parting ways after 8 years of marriage. According to the latest reports, the popular Mad Men actor filed for divorce from Alexis on August 10, 2022. The actress’ representative is said to have confirmed the couple’s divorce to Entertainment Tonight. The duo had gotten engaged back in 2013 and had also briefly worked together in Mad Men.
The couple
Vincent started dating Alexis when she guest-starred with him on Mad Men. For the unversed, she played the mistress of Pete Campbell, which was played by none other than Vincent Kartheiser himself. Talking about the couple, they secretly tied the knot in 2014, just a year after their engagement. However, the Gilmore Girls alum and Kartheiser kept their romance private from the public eyes. Not only that, but the couple also managed to keep the arrival of their child a secret.

Alexis and Vincent are parents to a baby boy. The two of them welcomed their first child in 2016. Elizabeth Moss, who had earlier worked with the couple in Mad Men and The Handmaid’s Tale, had talked about the duo’s relationship and commented on the same. The actress also revealed that she would not be returning for the fifth season of the show. For the unversed, Bledel played the role of Olfgen/Emily on the same show since the year 2017. The actress also released an official statement about her exit from the popular show. Bledel had earlier received four Emmy nominations and one win for her excellent performance in the Bruce-Miller-created adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s famous novel.
