It seems like “The Kardashians” has hit the jackpot in the family department!

The next chapter in the lavish lives of the Kardashian–Jenner family is about to be filled with spicy drama, new business ventures, changing family dynamics, and everything else in between that the fans have been wanting to know since the last season. The much-awaited series comeback with a fifth season after the hiatus is going to take a major turn from the looks of the official trailer.

The 2:40-minute trailer gives a little glimpse into how many new things this famous family has in store for the viewers when the new episodes drop on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 12 a.m. ET on Hulu

As the cameras begin to roll, we get an idea of how the five sisters, Kourtney Kardashian Barker, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner, with matriarch Kris being “the ideal momager” for her girls, are going to handle their fast-paced lifestyles. In the upcoming 10-episode season, the family will certainly continue to defy expectations in all their endeavors.

Kim, 43, who has been killing it with her business projects while enjoying her actress era can also be seen hanging out with her kids despite being booked and busy with scheduled meetings. She is juggling between her private and very public life while also looking out for her distraught sister, Khloé, 39, who had recently split up with Tristan Thompson.

With Khloé trying to enjoy her single life, some differences can also be seen brewing between her and her sisters, which will be uncovered further once the season drops. Surprisingly, what is happening with Kylie, 26, and Kendall, 28, has not been revealed in the trailer, but it does seem that the duo has been having the time of their lives while attending fashion events together.

Later in the trailer, Kourtney, 45, can be seen blooming within her pregnancy glow as she is looking forward to welcoming her baby with musician Travis Barker, whom she officially married on Sunday, May 15, 2022, in Santa Barbara, California. But the trailer’s tone shifts when she confirms that the pregnancy is going to be high-risk as she has to go for fetal surgery

The health concerns don’t end here, as an emotional Kris can be seen making a major revelation about her undergoing a scan, where she discovered she had a cyst and a little tumor. This situation seems to have added more tension due to its seriousness, as quick shots of the family being in complete shock are also included at the end of the trailer, leaving fans wanting to get more answers.

The official synopsis for the fifth season reads:

“Just when you think life can’t get any faster in the Kardashian-Jenner family, they punch it into overdrive. From the big screen to baby bliss, the family continues to defy expectations in all their endeavors. Cameras roll as Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie navigate contentious sister dynamics under the watchful eye of everyone’s favorite matriarch, Kris.”

In addition to this, Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie serve as executive producers.
