The Midnight Club Release Date

Produced by Intrepid Pictures and Field House Productions, The Midnight Club is coming up on Netflix on October 7, 2022. This can be a headline to Netflix’s Halloween slate. On August 18, Netflix confirmed the release date for The Midnight Club. The Midnight Club was announced in May 2020 when Flanagan tweeted, “I began brainstorming an adaptation of THE MIDNIGHT CLUB as a teenager, so this is a dream come true. It’s an honour to introduce a new generation of young horror fans to the world of Christopher Pike. Oh, and for you fellow Pike fans out there… the article is correct, we will be incorporating a lot of his books into the series. So whatever your favourite Pike book is, there’s a chance it’ll be part of the show.”

The Midnight Club Plot

This upcoming series is based on one of many books by prolific author Christopher Pike. The Midnight Club is one of the many stand-alone novels published by the author. The novel cover gives off the impression of a cheesy 90s young adult horror; the truth is something much deeper. The story is about a group of terminally ill teenage patients who reside at Rotterdam Home. These teens together create The Midnight Club, where they meet in secret at midnight to tell horror stories. The teens form a pact of the group that whoever dies first would make an effort to contact the rest of the Midnight Club members from beyond the grave.

The Midnight Club is not coming to Netflix in September 2022
