The Offer Season 1 Episode 7 is hinted to be picked up from the 6th episode, A Stand Up Guy which was released on May 19, 2022. The episode is directed by Colin Bucksey and written by Nikki Toscano. In the episode, the viewers got to see that when news of Gulf & Western’s collaboration with Colombo reaches Bluhdorn and Evans, Bluhdorn quickly offloads Paramount and fires Ruddy from the project. Despite Ruddy’s contempt, Bettye travels to Colombo to inform him of the termination.
As a means of getting Ruddy restored, he immediately starts causing problems for the production. Evans interrupts a meeting to give a speech to convince them to reconsider selling Paramount at a discount to a Texan investor. After Bluhdorn changes his mind, it is determined that they will not sell Paramount.
