This Is Us is a television drama series created by Dan Fogelman that debuted on September 20, 2016. This series has been running for quite some time. 

NBC renewed the series for three more seasons in May 2019. The fifth season premiered on October 27, 2020. On January 4, the sixth season premiered early this year.

With six seasons completed, it was speculated that the series would conclude with season six. However, fans are eager to know about This Is Us Season 7 and whether the next chapter is renewed or not.

When is the next episode of This Is Us Season 6 releasing?

The 11th episode of Season 6 is set to release on April 5, 2022, titled Saturday in the Park. The synopsis of the episode reads, “Rebecca and Miguel’s anniversary barbecue does not go as planned.”

This Is Us Season 6 reportedly consists of 18 episodes, the typical pattern that the series follows.

This Is Us Plot

The show focuses on the lives of three siblings, Kevin, Kate, and Randall (called the “Big Three”), and their parents, Jack and Rebecca Pearson.

It takes place primarily in the present moment and employs flashbacks to depict the family’s history. The majority of episodes have a plotline set in the present and a plotline set in the past.

On the other hand, some episodes are placed in a single time or employ multiple flashbacks.

Flashbacks frequently focus on Jack and Rebecca, 1980, both before and after the birth of their babies, or on the family when the Big Three are children or adolescents. These scenes are set in Pittsburgh, where the Big Three and their parents were born and raised.
