“The Game” actress Tia Mowry, 44, on Tuesday, announced on social media that she and her husband Cory Hardrict, 42 decided to part ways after 14 years of marriage. Together the couple share son two beautiful kids, an 11-year-old son and a 4-year-old daughter.
On 5 October 2022, Tiny Mowry wrote, along with a picture of her and husband Cory Hardrict, “I have always been honest with my fans, and today is no different. I wanted to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways. These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness. We will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children. I am grateful for all the happy times we had together and want to thank my friends, family and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives.”

Tina Mowry and Hardrict met as undergrads at Los Angeles’ Pepperdine University, and before tying the knot in 2008, the couple were friends for a whole year and then dated for 8 years. Related to this, the actress explained in an interview with Ebony in 2013 that she and her husband Cory Hardrict waited to be intimate with each other. “This works for some people and it doesn’t work for some people and it’s OK,” she elaborated. “Know and learn and understand what baggage can you handle and what can you not handle.”
In an interview with Global Grind, Hardrict shared that he and Tia met on the set of “Hollywood Horror” and became better friends after Tina and her sister, Tamera, spotted him standing at a bus stop and gave him a ride. Cory said that he was struggling at that time.
“I was just grinding, I met my wife during those days, and she was with me when she was coming out of [the popular television show] ‘Sister, Sister’ [which costarred her twin Tamera Mowry],” he said. “They had everything, man and I didn’t have anything. I had a studio apartment, sleeping in the corner with no furniture for almost two years.”
According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Mowry filed for divorce on October 3 due to irreconcilable differences as the ground for divorce. Mowry is seeking joint legal and physical custody of her children, Cree Taylor Hardrict and Cairo Tiahna Hardrict.

She is strong, but I know right now she just kind of just wants to, you know, just kind of process it all, take it all in and be a little private about that,” she continued. “And as a sister, you know, I’m just going to respect that.”

The actress shared that she was struggling with conceiving as she suffered from endometriosis. Mowry spoke with TODAY about her struggle and said, “I never heard the word ‘infertility ‘growing up. It just wasn’t part of conversations with my family and friends,” Mowry explained to TODAY. “We as women growing up, we are just like, ‘OK, I’m going to get married, I’m going to have kids.’ You have your life planned out, and it doesn’t always work that way.”
Just two days after filing the divorce, on Wednesday, Tia Mowry was spotted heading for a workout at the gym in Los Angeles wearing a black tank top paired with skintight black leggings and black matching sneakers showing off her toned arms.
On October 4, 2022, an Instagram user claimed Cory to have cheated on Tia, to which the 42-year-old actor responded, “lies!” and said all of the accusations were lies.
